A Transitional New England Cottage Transformation in Westwood, MA

This thoughtfully designed renovation, executed in a Transitional New England Cottage style, transformed the original Cape by removing the old garage and screened porch and replacing them with a new two car garage, mudroom, and an expanded second floor featuring a spacious master suite. Two new dormers were added to bring natural light into the existing bedrooms, and the entire interior was remodeled, including a completely updated kitchen. The consistent use of shingle siding across both old and new sections, paired with crisp white trim, well scaled dormers, and stone accents at the garage, creates a seamless and harmonious exterior that enhances the home's character and curb appeal. The project stands as a testament to the contractor’s dedication and precision in executing Preston Design, Inc.’s detailed plans.
