A Niantic River Development in Waterford Connecticut

Preston Design, Inc. was commissioned to create a distinctive residential development that would bring a more refined architectural presence to the Niantic River waterfront. Rooted in classical design principles and shaped by its setting, the building is organized around a balanced, symmetrical composition defined by two prominent towers, a slate mansard roof, and a grand central passage that preserves a direct visual connection to the river. Refined masonry, carefully proportioned windows, ornamental ironwork, and layered architectural detailing give the development a timeless character and a strong sense of permanence. The result is a sophisticated waterfront community that elevates the shoreline while maintaining an enduring connection between the architecture, its residents, and the water.
